5. Questions and answers
When is the next Rust force wipe?
The force wipe falls on the first Thursday of each month at 19:00 UK time, when Facepunch ships the game update. The force wipe countdown shows the time remaining and the date of the next one. The countdown updates in your browser; all other figures refresh every five minutes.
What is the most common wipe day?
In this release Thursday is the busiest wipe day, counted from wipes Rust Census has recorded rather than from schedules owners publish. Weekly servers usually wipe on the same weekday each week, so a single day tends to lead. The heatmap breaks the count down by hour, in UTC.
How often do Rust servers wipe?
Three rhythms are common: weekly, biweekly and monthly. Monthly servers often wipe only at the force wipe; weekly and biweekly servers pick their own day and hour between force wipes. You can see servers that have just wiped in the recently wiped list, and every server's next wipe date is listed on its page in the server directory.
